"Captain's Quarters"

 

This was a quick drawing for part of my final in Environments and Props. We had to "cast" a ship and this is based on the interior of the Amity brig in Albany, Australia. Although it could still use more personal touches, I'm quite proud of this little interior and I think I'll do ships a lot more!

 

One of the things that interested me about this ship was this center table piece, which seemed like great design. I learned, however, that loose things are likely much wiser in a ship, as it is constantly in motion. Despite this, I hope to carry the design elements I've learned here into many new interior ideas.
